The third wave of enrollment to the British online program on effective communication for young people – “Skills for Life” is open

Ukrainian Academy of Mediation (UAM https://mediation.ua/) in partnership with National Association of Mediators of Ukraine (NAMU http://namu.com.ua/ua/) and the The Ukrainian Mediation Center (UMC https://www.ukrmediation.com.ua/ua/) in collaboration with Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, UK https://www.cedr.com/) announces a phenomenal opportunity to participate in this project created for British young people.

About the Skills for Life Programme

The Skills for Life Programme is an online training programme which teaches you all the skills you need to be able to have effective difficult conversations. Once you have taken this programme you will be able to understand better what other people want, listen more effectively, be able to handle your emotions and others and be able to put forward your view persuasively. On completion of the programme you will receive a certificate in the Skills for Life programme and be able to see more learning resources.

The content of the online Skills for Life Programme:

Introduction
Module 1. Active Listening Skills
Module 2. Handling Emotions
Module 3. Working with Apparently Difficult People
Module 4. Influencing people
Feedback and Final Assessment

Who should participate?

We are looking for a group of 20 Ukrainian participants to take the Skills for Life Programme.

So if:

Сitizen of Ukraine
You are aged between 16 and 25 years old.
You see yourself as a change agent or have the potential to be one.
You can complete the programme (of 6-8 hours of self-learning) in a 1 month period.

We invite you to participate in the programme «Skills for Life».

Timeline

Closing date for applications: Sunday, the 05th of March, 2023

Information about opening meeting will be proveded additionally for the successful applicants (introduction to the Programme).

The course will start in 10st of March, 2023.

It is important to complete the course in one month (4 weeks). It will take about 6-8 hours to do all of the modules.
